Phenotypic characterization of Spanish TRADITOM processing and long shelf life subset in CONC2 field (Malgrat de Mar, Barcelona,Spain) during summer 2015
Phenotypic evaluation of 76 traits related to plant architecture, fruit shape, size, colour and quality and GWAS analysis
Culture in open field with local irrigation. Distance between rows 1.5. Distance between plants 0.5 m.
Plants were pruned until the first inflorescence and then were enabled to branch freely. Plants were vertically supported using horizontal strings, conveniently tensioned, and separated 15 cm between each one. Weeds were managed manually. Pest and diseases were controlled using an integrated pest management strategy.
